Last week, students from 2nd of ESO worked in the laboratory trying to demonstrate and understanding the concept of density by calculating it from five liquids(alcohol, cooking oil, dish soap, syrup and water) and four solids(made out of plastic, wood, metal and a stone), with regular and irregular objects. Then they created a density column.
Now , they are able to explain the difference between mass and density, to take accurate measurements of mass volume using a scale and reading a meniscus, respectively, and at the end they did a lab report. We hope you enjoyed it!
