Self portraits

During these months we have been working on the topic of Frida Kahlo, it is the first time that we work with an artist that is a woman. The students have known about her history and artworks, we have seen some paintings and after seeing the wonderful portraits that she made the students have designed their own self portraits. It has been a wonderful opportunity to study the face proportions and symmetry. The backgrounds have been completed with animals, plants, or elements important in their lives.
